The second generation of TrueForce Core LED HPL is the novelty in Philips TrueForce Segment. It is an HPL/HQL replacement with operation at the KVG/VVG or directly at 230V mains voltage. The piston of the lamp consists entirely of matted glass and has an almost identical design as in a conventional HPL/HQL discharge lamp. Due to its emission angle of 300° and its protection class IP65 (waterproof), it is not only ideal for outdoor lighting (e.g. mushroom lights or old-town lights), but also for indoor lighting (e.g. indoor reflector lights). It offers a service life of 25,000 h and a luminous flux of up to 4,000 lumens.
