The V20 overvoltage arrester made of halogen-free plastic is suitable for overvoltage protection potential compensation according to VDE 0100-443 (IEC 60364-4-44). A dynamic separation device and optical status display characterize the modularly pluggable arresters. The SurgeController is particularly suitable for potential equalization in main and lower distributions, depending on the type in the area of TN networks. Thanks to the high performance varistors, the leakage capacity is up to 40 kA (8/20) per pole. The vibration-proof latching and the voltage and type coding ensure safety and avoid confusion between upper and lower parts. The wedge-shaped design of the contacts allows simple insertion and even simpler removal of the upper parts.
