Installation relays E297 are electromagnetically operated small contactors with a width of 18mm (1 module unit). With these installation relays a reliable consumer control can be designed. As a rule, the installation relays are used via a control switch (continuous contact) where, for example, an illumination, an air conditioning, a fan or the like is to be controlled. The device remains in the ON position as long as the control voltage is applied to the coil. If the control voltage is interrupted, the installation relay always falls back into the rest position (out-position). Thanks to the optimal switching power, they are also suitable for applications in industrial environments and in situations where it is necessary to ensure control over more powerful consumers (such as several lighting groups). The use of an optimized coil (low power loss =low operating temperature) ensures trouble-free and safe use in the electric distributor. The silent switching noises and the sponge-free magnet system also justify use in public buildings and in private households. Depending on the type, the installation relays can be controlled with common AC/DC control voltages and are designed for a rated current of 16 A.
