Combined lightning and overvoltage protection device SPD type 1+2 for protection of low-voltage consumer systems against flash currents and overvoltages. Tested SPD type 1 and type 2 according to DIN EN 61643-11. The devices can be used for use as an overvoltage protection device according to WDE 0100 part 443 and part 534, as well as within the framework of the lightning protection zone concept. The devices are compatible with the System per M compact series. Optionally, the SPD is equipped with a floating contact. The variants with evacuation varistor – (s) offer an additional protection of the system in that at the end of the service life, the surge arrester is not completely separated from the network, but a basic protection is still guaranteed by an additional smaller varistor and the system is thus still protected until the surge arrester is replaced.
