FI protection switch, 4-pin, type A, selective, In: 40 A, 100 mA, Un AC: 400 V, with thermal overload protection The FI switch is the fault current protection device for contact protection The patented fault current protection devices of Siemens are an important part of the SENTRON protection components for electrical installation, because they prevent life-threatening current accidents due to safe disconnection of dangerous fault currents against Earth. Electrically ignited fires can already be prevented from arising. Whether by direct stirring of parts which are subject to stress in terms of operation or by indirect stirring of operating means, the protection is achieved above all by rapid switching off. The Siemens FI protection switches 5SV are characterized primarily by: 1. Comprehensive protection for persons and property values against electrical impact. 2. Whether sinusoidal alternating fault currents or smooth direct fault currents - Siemens offers the right type for all requirements and special designs. 3. Reliable safety during installation thanks to the standard protection of grip and touch. 4. Toolless release from the hat rail or from the busbar composite by comfortable slide-hand actuation. 5. Datamatrix code on the front of the device provides quick and easy all information about the FI circuit breaker. 6. Be protected as standard: The fault current protection switches correspond to the requirements of DIN VDE. 7. Optimum technology for your safety - only from Siemens. www.siemens.de/fault current protection. Siemens provides a comprehensive portfolio of protection, switching, measuring and monitoring equipment, distribution systems and switches and sockets for safe, efficient electrical infrastructure in buildings and industry.
