Radio diagnostic tool for Gira Smoke detector Dual VdS with radio module for smoke detector Dual VdS Features: - The radio diagnostic tool is for checking Gira Dual VdS with radio module for smoke warning dual VdS. - The radio diagnostic tool consists of the radio diagnostic USB box and the radio diagnostic software. Radio Diagnostic USB Box: - Connection of the radio diagnostic USB box to the USB interface of a PC. Radio diagnostic software: - Name smoke detectors. - Possibility of a cyclical recording to analyze errors. - Combining smoke detectors in groups. - Reading different status information from a smoke alarm: degree of contamination, serial number, battery voltage, temperature and the event memory of the last 20 events (e.g. smoke alarm, test alarm or weak battery state). System requirements: - PC with Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7 and installed Microsoft .Net Framework 3.5. - Mini CD compatible CD DVD drive. - USB interface that supplies a current of 500 mA. Notes : - Not compatible with Gira Smoke detector Dual Q.

Dual features: - Relay module for the smoke alarm Dual Q. - Down-compatible, so also usable for smoke alarm dual Wds. - Possibility to connect external alarms, e.g. horn or warning light. - At local or networked alarms, the alarm relay is switched. - In case of a malfunction of the smoke alarm, e.g. weak battery, switches the noise relay. - With the relay module, alarm and interference messages can be switched to other signal generators. Notes : - fault messages can only be interrogated by the smoke warning detectors equipped with a relay module. - The relay module is simply plugged to the interface of the smoke alarm dual. The cross-linking terminals of the smoke warning detector are further usable when the module is plugged on. - Please note the planning instructions in the technical annex.
