Other data is collected automatically by our IT systems when you visit the website. This is primarily technical data (e.g., internet browser, operating system, or time of page access). This data is collected automatically as soon as you enter our website.

3. General Information and Mandatory Information

Data Security (SSL Encryption)

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders or inquiries you send to us as the website operator, this site uses SSL or TLS encryption. You can recognize an encrypted connection by the change in the browser’s address line from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser bar. If SSL or TLS encryption is activated, the data you transmit to us cannot be read by third parties.

Withdrawal of Your Consent to Data Processing

Many data processing operations are only possible with your express consent. You may withdraw consent you have already given at any time. An informal notification by email is sufficient. The legality of the data processing carried out until the withdrawal remains unaffected by the withdrawal.

Right to Lodge a Complaint with the Competent Supervisory Authority

In the event of violations of the GDPR, data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, particularly in the Member State of their habitual residence, place of work, or place of the alleged violation. In Austria, this is the Data Protection Authority.

Right to Data Portability

You have the right to receive data that we process automatically on the basis of your consent or in fulfillment of a contract, in a commonly used, machine-readable format, either for yourself or for transfer to a third party.

Information, Erasure and Rectification

Within the framework of the applicable legal provisions, you have the right at any time to obtain free information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients, and the purpose of the data processing and, if applicable, a right to rectification or erasure of this data. You may contact us at any time regarding this or any other questions on the subject of personal data.

4. Data Collection on This Website

Cookies

Our website uses so-called "cookies." Cookies are small text files and do not cause any damage to your device. They are stored either temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (permanent cookies) on your device.

Technically necessary cookies: We use cookies that are essential for the operation of the website and the online shop. These include cookies that:

  • store the contents of your shopping cart,

  • store your login status (if you have a customer account),

  • store your language settings,

  • enable security-related functions (e.g., protection against CSRF attacks).

These cookies are stored on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the error-free provision of the shop) as well as Section 165(3) TKG 2021 (exception for strictly necessary services). No active consent is required for these cookies.

No marketing or analytics cookies: We do not use analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) or third-party marketing cookies on this website. No tracking of your user behavior takes place.

Server Log Files

The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are:

  • Browser type and browser version

  • Operating system used

  • Referrer URL (the previously visited page)

  • Hostname of the accessing computer

  • Time of the server request

  • IP address

This data is not merged with other data sources. The collection of this data is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimization of the website – for this purpose, server log files must be recorded.

Contact Form and Email Contact

If you send us inquiries via the contact form, your details from the inquiry form, including the contact details you provide there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in case of follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent.

The processing of this data is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, provided that your inquiry is related to the fulfillment of a contract or is necessary for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective handling of inquiries addressed to us (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Registration in the Online Shop

You can register on our website to use additional features (order history, faster checkout). We use the data entered for this purpose only for the use of the respective offer or service for which you have registered. The mandatory information requested during registration must be provided in full.

The processing of the data entered during registration is carried out for the purpose of implementing the user relationship established by the registration and, if applicable, for initiating further contracts (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Processing of Orders (Contract Data)

We collect, process, and use personal data only insofar as it is necessary for the establishment, content design, or modification of the legal relationship (inventory data). This is done on the basis of Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, which permits the processing of data for the fulfillment of a contract or pre-contractual measures.

5. Payment Methods

Standard Payments (Prepayment / Bank Transfer)

When paying by prepayment/bank transfer, we do not process any sensitive payment data on our website. You independently transfer the invoice amount via your bank to our bank account. We only match the incoming payment on our bank account with your order.

6. Transfer of Data for Order Processing and Delivery Capability

To fulfill our contractual obligations towards our customers (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and based on our legitimate interest in seamless delivery capability and the fastest possible dispatch of ordered goods (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), we transfer personal data as follows:

1. Use of Shipping Service Providers We pass on your name and delivery address to shipping companies commissioned by us (e.g., postal services, DHL, DPD) in order to enable the physical delivery of the goods.

2. Direct Delivery by Upstream Suppliers (Drop Shipping) In certain cases, we do not stock the goods you ordered ourselves but commission an upstream supplier (manufacturer or wholesaler) to deliver directly to your address (so-called drop-shipping). For this purpose, we transmit your name and delivery address to the respective supplier.

3. Procurement via External Marketplaces in Case of Supply Bottlenecks To ensure timely delivery even in the event of regional supply shortages (e.g., if a product is not available from any of our Austrian upstream suppliers), we may, in individual cases, procure goods via external marketplaces such as Amazon (Amazon EU S.à r.l., 38 avenue John F. Kennedy, L-1855 Luxembourg). In such cases, we transmit your name and delivery address to the marketplace operator so that the goods can be dispatched directly to you. This is done exclusively for the fulfillment of the purchase contract concluded with you.

4. Special Features Regarding Contact Information (Email and Telephone) We only pass on your email address or telephone number to logistics partners if:

  • This is strictly necessary for the performance of the contract pursuant to Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, for example in the case of freight forwarding deliveries requiring appointment coordination.

  • In all other cases, data will only be passed on if you have given us separate consent during the ordering process in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.

7. Contact Form

If you contact us via the contact form on our website, we process the personal data you provide (name, email address, and the content of your message) for the purpose of handling your inquiry.

The processing is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest), as we have a legitimate interest in the efficient processing of contact and customer inquiries.

The data entered in the contact form is stored in the database of our web server and additionally transmitted to us by email. It is not passed on to third parties.

The personal data will only be stored for as long as necessary to process your inquiry and, beyond that, for a maximum period of 6 months, unless statutory retention obligations apply or a further business relationship arises from the inquiry.

You have the right at any time to obtain information about, rectify, erase, or restrict the processing of your personal data, as well as the right to object to processing.

8. Retention Period and Automatic Deletion

To ensure data minimization and maximum security, we have introduced a fixed retention period: All personal data will be completely deleted from our systems after a period of 5 years from the time of registration.
Excluded from this automatic deletion are only data that we must archive for a period of 7 years due to statutory retention obligations (in particular accounting and tax documents in accordance with UGB/BAO). These archived data will also be irrevocably deleted after expiry of the statutory period.
